July 2001 - Present: National and International Lecturer. Private Practitioner assessing and treating clients of a variety of ages and disabilities who exhibit difficulties with eating, drinking, or speaking. Mentor for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinay teams.




August 1995 - June 2001: Clinical Specialist/Administrator - Loyola University Maryland. Supervised graduate students. Administered oral sensory-motor clinical program (i.e., assessment and treatment of feeding, motor speech, and mouth dysfunction). Taught courses on oral sensory-motor disorders, augmentative communication, neurology, and adult communication disorders.


July 1993 - August 1995: Adjunct Faculty Member in Speech-Language Pathology and Education Departments - Loyola University Maryland. Taught courses on language development, oral sensory-motor disorders (i.e., feeding, motor speech, and mouth dysfunction), augmentative communication, neurology, and adult communication disorders.




Dec. 1993 - Nov. 1994: Speech-Language Outreach Consultant -The Maryland School for the Blind; Baltimore, Maryland. Provided statewide consultation to local education agencies in the state of Maryland serving individuals with visual impairment and multiple disabilities ages birth to 21 years.


Aug. 1989 - Feb. 1992: Supervisor of Speech-Language Pathology -The Maryland School for the Blind; Baltimore, Maryland. Supervised a department of five speech-language pathologists and provided clinical services for individuals with multiple disabilities ages birth to 21 years.
